It’s easy for me to outline what the Modern Barbarian really is, but the question remains, are you one of us? Are you one of the Brothers or Sisters of Iron and Stone?

Fun With Sledgehammers And Training As Spiritualism

I’ve spent a good bit talking about feelings, lately, which is weird because I don’t like to talk about my feelings all that much. I do it, but I don’t like it. Yet I’ve never had a problem talking about enjoying something, nor about why I enjoy it.

Yesterday, in between sets with my kettlebell, I picked up my sledgehammer and had a little fun, and I don’t mind talking about why at all.

The Modern Barbarian

I’ve been spending a lot of time lately just thinking about what I want out of not just me, but men and women in general. I’ve also mentioned a certain quote by Conan creator Robert E. Howard quite a bit, and that whole idea has deeply crawled inside my brain to set up housekeeping.

The idea is that we probably need to be a little less civilized and become modern barbarians.
